This weather station is provided by Hastings Yacht Club for the benefit of the local marine community. The unit used to provide all instrument readings is a 'Davis Vantage Pro' Weather Station and considered to be one of the most accurate professional weather stations available on the market. The Andronometer (wind direction and measurement device) is situated at the top of the HF radio mast some 15 meters above sea level at the northern perimeter of the Yacht Club. All other measurement equipment is situated at 3 meters above sea level. The software utilised to display the information over the internet is 'Weather Display Live' and licenced to Hastings Yacht Club. All other web page design was performed by Sniffnbreak Studios, Farnham UK.
All advertising revenue raised by this website goes towards the maintenance and running costs of this much needed asset for the marine community.
